Garage Floor Coatings

The foundation of every great garage starts with the floor.

The First Upgrade

The foundation of every great garage starts with the floor.

Your garage shouldn’t feel like an afterthought. A professionally coated floor transforms it into a clean, bright, durable space — and immediately elevates how the entire garage feels and functions.

At Castle Floor Coatings, a coated floor isn’t an upgrade — it’s the baseline. It’s the first step in turning bare concrete into a polished, intentional extension of your home.

No dust. No stains. No failing concrete. Just a seamless, designer surface built to last.

A premium floor coating protects your concrete, improves safety, and delivers long-term value. It’s an investment you see, feel, and benefit from every single day.

A Higher-Performance Coating System

  • Superior UV Stability

Polyaspartic topcoats are UV-stable and non-yellowing, unlike epoxy (which ambers) and many polyureas (which chalk or discolor in sunlight).

  • Excellent Chemical Resistance

Resists common garage contaminants including motor oil, gasoline, brake fluid, transmission fluid, antifreeze, road salt, cleaners, and mild acids.

  • Higher Long-Term Durability

Forms a harder, thicker wear layer than epoxy, resisting hot tire pickup, abrasion, peeling, and premature wear.

  • Built-In Flexibility

More flexible than epoxy, allowing the coating to move with concrete expansion and temperature changes instead of cracking.

  • Stronger Bond to Concrete

Penetrates and bonds more effectively than epoxy, reducing the risk of delamination or lifting over time.

  • Consistent, High-End Finish

Produces uniform gloss, depth, and texture without dry spots, roller marks, or uneven sheen common in cheaper systems.

  • Wide Temperature Performance

Performs reliably across seasonal temperature swings, maintaining strength and adhesion in both cold winters and hot summers — conditions where epoxy commonly fails.

Not All Polyaspartic Floors Perform the Same

The performance of a polyaspartic floor depends on two things: the quality of the materials and how they’re installed.

Many coatings are labeled “polyaspartic,” but vary widely in viscosity, solids content, UV stability, and durability. Combined with rushed prep or thin application, the result is a floor that may look good at first — but doesn’t hold up.

At Castle Floor Coatings, we use high-performance polyaspartic systems and install them using proven methods designed for long-term performance. The difference isn’t just how the floor looks — it’s how it feels, cleans easier, and holds up year after year.

That’s the difference between applying a coating — and installing a system.
